Ingredients
1 kg strong white flour
1 tablespoon dried active yeast
1½ tablespoons salt
6 tablespoons olive oil
600 ml warm water
Instructions
Place the flour in a mixing bowl and make a well. Add the yeast, oil, salt and water and stir well
Remove from bowl and knead till dough has a silky appearance
Cover and leave to rise till double the size
Knock all the air out the dough and shape a loaf by stretching from the sides and pressing into the middle
Place on a baking tray and leave to rise till double the size then score the surface.
For a standard crusty loaf bake in a preheated oven at 210°C for 25 minutes
